Guest guest
Dear Josie, I just want to say how my heart goes out to you. I live in a place where the doctors absolutely discount any notion that mold can harm you (several have bad-mouthed Shoemaker to my face). I relocated last year so I have no family/friends here, my health is precarious, and I cannot tolerate meds because of severe MCS (several have almost done me in). If I discover anything that will be of service to you, I will share the info. If you decide to go to see Dr. Rea, just know that there's a fairly long wait for " safe " housing. _____ Sharon -- how are you managing the Adrenal Insufficiency? I just got news last week that my adrenals are flattened and my thyroid has multiple lesions of several types. thanks, arlene
Guest guest
I take steroids and I'm on a bunch of supplements as well as an anti fungal drug. I'm pretty sick but I'm thinking it has to do with the detoxing. I have been able to get down to 12.5mg of hydrocortisone a day from 20mgs. I'm also doing the Miracle Mineral Supplement and I think it kills all pathogens but does not get the toxins out of the body. I am on toxin binding drugs. Josie can you get the toxin binding drug that Dr. Shoemaker recommends? Sharon arlene griffin <arleneyogini@...> wrote: Dear Josie, I just want to say how my heart goes out to you. Guest guest
Sharon, you may want to check out what Dr Shoemaker has to say about steriods in Mold Warriors and see if it may apply to you. It has been quoted that he says taking steriods with fungal disease is like pouring gas on a fire, but I do not want to misquote so check out what the book says and discuss with your doctor or Dr Shoemaker if you can see him. --- In , Sharon Hanson <shha2002@...> wrote: > > I take steroids and I'm on a bunch of supplements as well as an anti fungal drug. Guest guest
It can be very difficult, I am not quite where you are yet, but thinking about it is very depressing. The advice is very difficult, you can't just move anywhere you have to find a place with no mold. In the mean time days turn into weeks, weeks months, months years. I am at year 11. I managed to find a mold free house (I think, still sick to a considerable extent) by going to craigslist and finding someone that wanted to rent out a room in a new home. I think the ac was doing it to me to a large degree. I am a lot better now that it's cooled substantially and I can open the windows. I am looking into moving out west, and giving it another go before it gets hot again. Still looking for anyone whom might want to join me and pool resources. I want to buy or rent a piece of land and build an all metal and Styrofoam building on it. Don't really know what else to do. tried just about everything else. In the mean time I am going to try to find someone that will let me put my odd looking truck with it's camper on their property. Than I have to figure out a way to install an ac unit in it that doesn't generate any mold still brain storming on this one. Not an easy undertaking. I am not very dependable but if you need someone to talk to you can back channel me anytime. -- In , PickPinkFlowers <haggisisscotsfood@...> wrote: > > > I am so ill that I am housebound and have been for over a year. > I am confused and very dizzy all the time. Guest guest
Start feeling better after a few months on CSM(Cholestrymine)-if your Dr is not perscribing a proven mold toxin binder-why is she " good " ?? > > You know I am working with a doctor that has developed protocol for mold that grows inside the body. She is very good. I did read that in his book and my MSH is less than 8 with normal being 35-80 so I know the danger. I recently asker her if I could go down quicker and she said yes but if I start to have symptoms of adrenal crisis I should go back up. I'm thinking I will decrease by another 2.5mg tomorrow and I know I'm going to be okay short of something stressful happening. It took me five years to get diagnoses and many doctors. In the end it was me mostly and another member of a discussion group who ended up figuring it all out. She had worked with Dr. Shoemaker and the doctor I am seeing and recommended the doctor I am seeing as someone who was a better fit. I have been on treatment for almost a month. When will I start feeling better? Anyone.
