Guest guest
Dear friends I find myself at a crossroads with my illness and need some very serious advice. First let me say that I am disabled and have only begun the SSA & SSI procedure. I have nothing financially and my parents are getting very close to bankruptcy dealing with trying to get a grip on my illness. With all that in mind, I have explained in prior posts details of my illness but here is where I am getting overloaded and don't know which way to turn. In the last 9 months or so my labs from Dr. X have taken yet another dramatic turn for the worse. When the issue of the black sputum I am coughing up (which is now constant)I was sent to a pulminary specialist who is familiar with fungal exposure. He did a broncoscapy and did not find any of this black sputum during this procedure. He metioned ABPA and said if that was my problem then indeed he would not have found it with the procedure he did. he suggested I have a skin test done which I have read about many times here. I inquired with Dr. Hooper from Real time Lab in Dallas and he was very interested. He also wanted to get the biopsy done by Dr. Y (the pulminologist) because it was only tested for cancer and Dr. Hooper wants to test it for aspergillus and/or other things?. His lab states he can find the same results either from the skin test but also from a urine test and that is his suggested starting point. I ssuspect due to cost. I then tried to get Dr.X to Order the test to be told he did not use that lab because his results could not be " reprodused " . I don't know what this means but since I am in the dark in all of this I am asking for your help. Is ABPA the only illness that can colonize or keep you ill? Is this one skin test going to tell me anything other than if I have ABPA? Or is there the possability that there is something else, or more that needs to be checked. My fear is that if there is more than Just ABPA than if there is a negative result to that test that something is going to be missed. Either way, thus far there is no explination of this black stuff I am coughing up. I know this is long but any suggestions would be GREATLY appritiated. Guest guest
Dear unitedstatesvet, Please check out Miracle Mineral Supplement. I have taken it a couple of times and I believe in the science. It will kill any pathogen. Also it was recommended to me by an MD who is also a naturopath. Sorry to hear about your problems. Did you get the Contrast Sensitivity Test? Sharon unitedstatesvet <unitedstatesvet@...> wrote: Dear friends I find myself at a crossroads with my illness and need some very serious advice.
