hi eileen

i didn't realize you could rent them. i'd love to do that so i can see if it does me any good.

would you mind telling me...do you rent it from the same company that normally sells them? or are there companies that rent equipment like that?

thanks betty

betty..talk to your dr..he'd have to provide a script for it..being's you suffer from bronchiectasis there's a very good possibility you'd get yours anyway..are you on Medicare? Medicare would pay for it

I don’t think anyone can just “rent”.

The RX from your dr. comes first. Then after they let you know how you

stand money wise, a person will come to the house to show you how to use

it. If you decide not to keep it, they will come and get the

machine. You never just own it. Perhaps that is what is meant by

renting it. This is the procedure in fl. USA, at any rate.

Hi,

I have the Vest only because

my insurance company, Vista is paying for

the rental of it, and it sits in my closet. I have it because

the insurance is paying for it, but I have never experienced any noticeable

results from using it.

I use a decongestant daily and when

needed, Mucinex which containing 600mg. of Guaifenesin. For me, they are

only a temporary band-aid until the mold gets to the point where it can be

detected and then it is time for an antibiotic or VFend. Nothing else

will clear it up.

I will own my Vest in a

few months. After going through a

long appeal process with the insurance company, it was finally decided that the

Vest was medically necessary. A 15

month payment plan was set up (of which I pay 20%) and then it’s mine. And it’s warranteed for life.
