Guest guest
Charlene, This is my understanding only: My house, condo & car tests came back w/approx 5-6 diff. fungi & different bacteria @ diff. sites. From what I've read, it doesn't matter too much which species you have, esp. since their aren't any standards for what & what amts. can affect one's health. Appears the real issue is length (time) of exposure & immune system functioning or lack of. Turns out, when I had alergy testing, mold didn't come up as something I'm allrgic to, but I can tell you; even a day/few hrs. away from the home & my nose/sinuses clear as well as my brain fog. Have you read Mold Warriors(book by Dr. Shoemaker)? Highly recommend it! Also, go to www.chronicneurotoxins.com & do the Visual Contrast Sensitivity Test. A simple, inexpensive eye test you can take on-line to see if you have mycotoxins affecting your optic nerve; a REAL eye opener!! Hope some of this helps. If you'd like to talk, feel free to email & we can even exchange numbers, if you'd like. I wish you well! Hugs, Cheryl
