Sinus Pain or Is it Chiari?

I have been having what I'm sure most doctors would characterize as sinus pain. I saw a discussion about it in our group recently, too. It's strange because I'm taking Claritin and as long as I'm doing that, I don't have the allergic-type symptoms of watery eyes and runny nose. It's a pain under my eye and under that orbital bone. Also, I have had nose bleeds from that side.

This is the same side, however, that I have had pains in my eye. I have had problems with pain in that eye from time to time in the last few years. Once the optic nerve was inflamed as well. But, there isn't necessarily a connection between the eye pain and the optic inflammation, because I've run to the eye doctor and the nerve was fine then.

While we're on the subject, my sister, who has a herniation of about 4mm, said she had MRIs taken for Chiari and they show that her sinuses are a mess. I've never heard anyone say that this was one of the things mentioned on their MRI report. I'm just curious if they have. I'm almost thinking about going to the doctor and asking for a sinus x-ray, but like other things, I'm just hoping it goes away.
