Welcome to those of us who have developed freakish symptoms that are deny, deny,

denied.

My exposure happened in Long Beach, but I've moved out of state to cut costs

since not being able to return to work.

Mold had formed behind a cabinet, and was due to the Toilet

overflowing many times over the years in the restroom adjacent .

Fecal, urine, blood and vomit stayed on the floor for hrs at a time

as we would tape an " Out of Order " sign on the door. I was unaware of

this MOLD until Feb. of this year, at which time we were still

mandated to work in this " infected " small workroom. I work in the

health care industry and this room " was " also a Patient Exam Room,

which when the discovery was made, we were told not to use it for

Patients due to unsanitary and health isses. I asked about our health

and was shrugged off and was told the Admin. said to still use it. I

admit I was unkowledgable about MOLD. I became very sick way before

Feb. but just didn't realize it. I succomed to an extreme harrasment

issue, which sent me to the E.R. with BP 198/106 in May. And then I

was just given some pills for anxiety and a referral to Psych. where

they said i was depressed??? I admit I was extremely irritable and

crying uncontrolably, but being harassed as the only female in a male

dominated field at work, tell me which woman wouldn't be? I filed for

elbow injuries in June 2007 for pain that had been ongoing since

March of 2006 at the sugestion of the social worker i was seeing (due

to my depression??)I never coorlated my pain to MOLD Exposure. my

feet and ankles would hurt,i was buying new shoes constantly? no help

I would lose my balance, have severe migraines, nightmares, lose the

ability to spell simple words, unable to retain and so many more

little things i never realized until I became totaly weak, unable to

use my muscles, I had no choice but to go out on my elbow pain. I had

a heightened sense of smell and small tremors all the way back to

2005 and now sit here with full on MCS that has yet to be diagnosed.

My skin stings constanly and my hands, feet, legs and arms, buzz and

tingle all the time. Well anyway i could list everything but i'd be

here all night , since i can only type a few words at a time. I want

so much to scream about this subject Sick Buildings and i know that

my co workers that have DIED, want me to scream for them also!

Man, I KNOW the fixed income bit...lol.

I'll have to look up the second book you mention - I don't recognize the name

and am not seeing an author by that name in Amazon...

A good number of people on the list believe that CSM described by Dr. Shoe in

MoldWarriors saved their lives by getting toxins out of them. Dr. Shoe has

shown that genetically, about a quarter of us don't make the antibodies that

remove biotoxins appropriately. I'm pretty sure most of us on the list are

folks in this category. CSM is a drug called cholestyramine (not sure of my

spelling) which is approved for cholesterol reduction - it binds to stuff and

gets it out of your system. I think the brand name is Questran. You can look

in the archives of the list to find the Dr. Shoemaker protocol (if you search

under protocol, I think you'd find it).

There may be a less expensive copy here:

http://product.half.ebay.com/_W0QQprZ50876776QQcpidZ1372795282

If you can afford it, there's a great doctor in Benson, Arizona who has helped a

good handful of the folks on the list. My brain isn't working - I'll have to

look up his name later.

Hi Happy,

all the symptoms you describe are definitely mold-related.

as Haley mentioned, many people on this Forum have been to Dr

Shoemaker in land, myself included. his main protocol is

Cholestyramine taken 4x/day.

because you're a new member, i have to let you know that i've taken an

alternative medicine approach in my recovery. at the peak of my

illness, i had 20+ symptoms...and now i'm down to 2 " cosmetic "

symptoms--regrowth of the bald patches on my scalp & eyebrow AND for

my fingernails to look somewhat normal again. after much trial & error

with different modalities AND taking a hideous number of supplements

through the years, i've only officially recovered since June. if

anything, i'm here to let you know that recovering is entirely possible.

Look into getting on the Cholestyramine pills and also getting ionic foot

hydrotherapy (it helps to draw all toxins out of the body). Find out about

other detox methods. I had alot of the symptoms you described but am getting

better slowley but surely. Good Luck and God Bless

just want to put in my $.02 here---i've done quite a bit of footbaths

myself (started with Ionic Cleanse, then the Aqua Detox, which is much

better than the Ionic Cleanse)...they will help with detoxification,

but will not deeply detoxify you.
