Guest guest
I was diagnosed by a asthma, allergy and immunologest doctor, a member of aaem, which is Dr. Rea's method. a combination of allergy, food akkergy and specific IgE and IgG for mcs tests. plus I was suffering when I gor there and he notes dilated pupils, dry rale lungs, balance ect. I know what you mean about the confusion of which symptoms go with which illness. what I've noticed with me is that with mcs some low level exposures can bring on the cfs and fibromyalgia type effects, so I believe that people who dont have mcs but have cfs amd/or fibro are still haveing that from some form of toxin exposure wiether its a virus or whayever, so I believe mcs is cfs, fibro(which is pns damage) and with mcs you also have cns and cranial nerve damage so it goes way beyond fibro. I used to think the limbic seizures were part of the mcs but I guess that part of toxic encephalopathy. however what some refer to as brain fog is part of the mcs. I also have some permenant tbi effects that are related to haveing fungal meningitis(brain swelling and csf leaks. which in part is csf thinorrhia which I knew I had before I knew there was a actual name for it. and now that I've found info. on it I have found on my cat scan where those leaks are. I also tie the heart probkems, vascular and cholesterol/weight gain, ect. in with the mcs because I can fell the effects in my viens of some toxin exposures and even the bad reactions I get with some drugs, I relate to the chemical toxin intolerance. confussed yet? I think TE and MCS pretty well covers it all, and with me the csf rhinorrhia was just a little extra result of my exposure. > > It seems I've had MCS shortly after I began working for my employer > approx 18 yrs ago! Guest guest
ps. I guess it depends on how you look at it, I guess some can get TE without haveing MCS, or the other way around. plus I forgot to list the mycosis and mycotoxicosis. you can have mycotoxicosis from exposure to just one type of mycotoxin, I ne;oeve to even low level amounts. for me that meant reaccuring mycotoxin infections in my lungs, spinal cords, dieerhia, and nervous system effects which I mistook as some rather strange anixity attacks. the sponal cord infection radiated down my legs to my toes and down my arms to my fingers causeing numbness, tingleing, spasms ect. and really it included the fibro like symptoms from the start, the one thing I know for a fact is that it was all a resukt od exposure to mycotoxins. and I stress this because I'm very possitive that this exposure in my first home was straight that, minus the other chemicals that multiple molds can produce as it was a 3 story victorian home and if that was going on it was mainly on the third floor were I hardly ever ventered. totally different than my second home exposure where there was a high moisture problem throughout, under and above me and multiple toxic molds in high amounts and no dought bacteria which I'm thinging played a big role in both mcs,te and tbi from that exposure. I know I keep harping about this but I think many, many people out there are suffering back pain or other illnesses from a low and/or maybe one main type of mycotoxin, or group of one type of mycotoxin like trichathecenes and not see the mold or have noticeable moisture problems and not have a clue as to whats happening to them. Guest guest
Happy, Thank you for posting all the symptoms that you have experienced from your exposure. I wish more would do this, especially the " newbies " . Everything you mentioned my wife can relate to and I'm sure many others on this board can also. Without experiencing this firsthand or a spouce observing the affects it has had on you, no one can fully grasp the seriousiness of this syndrome. Even though some have tried. We know there is no possible way anyone could make up many of these " odd ball " , off the wall and sometimes ridiculous symptoms. If it was just one of two of us, yeah maybe they could call us crazy, but it's not, it's hundreds, thousands and I will even go as far as saying millions that have experienced the same symptoms that many refuse to acknowledge or misdiagnose. Thank you, KC --- In , " happyruiam " <happyru@...> wrote: > > It seems I've had MCS shortly after I began working for my employer > approx 18 yrs ago!
