Yes. We had to have the phone company make changes in our telephone

equipment switch - which was a major bother, since there had been a

six-month grace period and THEY were the ones that changed the area codes,

but did THEY come in and make the changes to our switch? Noooo......

suddenly we couldn't make ANY out-going calls to 408 because that used to

be OUR Area code, but ours had changed. Until the phone techs arrived (and

I was fairly steamed, I might add), we had to call allied agency PSAPs to

ask them if they would, pretty please? make some of our calls for us!!!!!

And of course it required a whole lot of changes to CAD data for lookups.
