i am playing the same game as you. My adult son who has schizophrenia and

some symptoms that are similar to those seen with chiari, had an mri on

Wednesday. I called the docs office today and they say the doc isn't in

today so call back monday.

so i think, hey, i will just go sign out the films and call to arrange

that...again, will be ready on monday morning....akkkk, i hate waiting.

then went to my pharmacy to get my pain meds and the script hasn't come in

the mail yet. it is percocet and the doc can't call it in. but the

pharmasist will usually just make a call to him and fill it over the phone

for me, knowing the script is on the way...but he isn't in, so the assistant

tells me it is against the law. i tell her i know that but he does it

anyway.....she tells me to go call my doc, i tell her forget it, and tell the

woman at the register that i hope that assistant never has chronic pain that

she can't get relief from, as it is NOT fun!!!!!
