Guest guest
Hi Guys, Well, finally getting my butt in gear to get this wrote!! <G> Ya I know, I'm slow!! But instead of answering each individual post at this time, I'd like to thank ALL of you for your help and suggestions!!!!! =) I ended up calling the MRI place Tuesday night to find out " what if " she had a hard time (because by this time she " was " getting nervous), what they would have to do as far as sedating her and such, they said they should just go ahead and reschedule it!! Ekkkkk NO WAY!! So they suggested that I call 's regular doctor to see if they could give her something, he prescribed a couple of valium (5 mg each), one a half hour before the MRI and the other right before she was going in!! They even let me go in, kind nice not being the one IN the tube but sitting beside it!! =) BUT.....killed my head just the same with all that tic tic tic!!!!!!! I don't really think the valium worked though......she was a wiggle worm to say the least. Atleast she kept her head pretty still, was just her legs she couldn't keep still. They said they only had to do a few extras pictures that she moved during!! Yea!! But heck, after almost an hour in there can't say as I blame her!! When they gave her the injection for the contrast she hardly flinched, hmmmm.......must be the pills worked good for that part atleast!! =) She did pass out on the way home!! oh well, better late then never!! So every thing went pretty well I'd say!!! The lady remembered me from previous visits of ME having the MRI's, so I tried to get it out of her to see " if " she seen Chiari or anything else on her MRI's...... No such luck though!! =*( Oh no, instead NOW I have to wait three days until my doctor receives them.....and of course that falls on Saturday when my doctor isn't open, so otherwise wait until Monday!!!!!! Grrrrrrr I'm sick of this waiting game!!! Not sure if it's the weather or just the stress of wondering about , but my head is KILLING me, and been having those d*** dizzy spells a LOT!!! Has been like this for about a week now, but we've had LOTS of rain, and it's still coming down, wish it would head to Florida instead where they really need it!!!!! The lake in my side yard makes me think we've had ENOUGH NOW, especially when it's usually all grass there!!! <G> Well, I hope you all have a Grrrrrrrrrreat weekend!!! Take Care!! HEY, GUESS WHAT........I figured I didn't have anything to loose this morning (feel like chit, kids driving me nuts, looking threw bills that SHOULD have been paid by the ins. and still haven't, blah blah blah....), so I thought I'd call the MRI place and ask them IF the report was ready yet.....guess what????? WOO HOO......they said it was done and there......going to pick it up today!! But, if I get there and they tell me I can't have it I may just have to go postal on their a$$ !!!! <G> I am NOT in the mood to be messed with, it's gonna be a hellish weekend as it is, found out last night my Uncle passed away on Tues. and they didn't even notify us!! Grrrrrrrr the #^% & ^* & % snobs!! That's OK.....my dad may be in Texas and not able to make it (it's his brother), but my 2 sisters, mom and I are going to the funeral home tonight!! And they better not say one d*** thing about us being there either (that's the type they are! Lovely family I have huh??)........plus the funeral is Saturday, so the next few days will " not " be good!! oops, sorry to dump but it's gonna be one of those days I can see........ Well, everyone have a great weekend, when I get the report I'll let everyone know!! Keep your fingers crossed in hopes it's just TMJ and not ACM too!!! Again I'd like to Thank everyone for all your suggestions and help, I really appreciated it!!! {{{{{{{{{HUGS}}}}}}} Luv ya, Amy Jo ------------------------------------------------------------------------
