Hi All,

FYI, our article that was in the IJOEH regarding industry's influence over

ACOEM, seems to be making a bit of a stir, not just regarding mold but on a

variety of illnesses. http://www.ijoeh.com/

Below are the California Applicant Attorneys' Association responses and the

Its depressing how an organization that puts itself forward as

representing a scientific viewpoint responds to a well put together

critique using so many logical fallacies and arguments like " outdated "

(which really means nothing because criticisms have no expiration

date)

In truth they have not responded in any way adequately to the concerns

that many have been raising and instead have lashed out at the people

who have had the courage to bring up their many problems.

They claim that a conspracy is arrayed against them, but what is

really happening is that the scientific community is making hard

decisions as to whether they want to be associated with an

organization that is so clearly slanted in its viewpoint -

ACOEM should really re-position itself as an advocacy organization for

industrialist causes and drop their pretense of being concerned about

worker health.
