MSG is one (monosodium glutamate), " natural flavors " too, but it occurs naturally in foods like mushrooms, Parmesan, tomato paste, over-ripe tomatoes, slow-cooked foods, braised meats, chicken skin, dehydrated foods, soy sauce, bonita flakes, and lots of other stuff. (Google 'glutamate foods'.) Most people are not sensitive to it but if you are it will keep you awake at night, give you headaches, cause depression, fatigue, different symptoms for different people. I would suggest to anyone with insomnia to check out that connection before trying any kind of sleep meds.
