Guest guest
Dr. G: Medical Examiner I was wondering if anyone saw the episode on Dr. G. medical examiner the other night. A 25 year old woman suddenly becomes ill and dies two days later in the hospital. They tried treating her with steroids and then antibiotics but her organs failed and she died. Dr. G. ruled cause of death was anaphylactic shock with the cause of the antigen unknown. She had worked in Biloxi, Mississippi doing volunteer work for victims of Hurricane Katrina. The CDC became very interested and wanted to know if it was an infectious disease. She had a prior history of Lyme disease. She was riding in a van when she started having trouble breathing and broke out in hives. What I wonder is could it have been mycotoxins from mold or formaldehyde in the trailers? Even if this information was well known how could Dr. G. have checked for it? Just looking for others thoughts on this.
