Studying Attitudes on DSM-5

 

We have received a request for participants in an anonymous online survey on

attitudes about the proposed changes to “autism” included in the Diagnostic

and Statistical Manual, Fifth Edition. People on the spectrum, parents of

people on the spectrum, and special education teachers are requested to take

the survey.

 

The survey is part of the thesis work of Egerman, a graduate student

at Manhattanville College in New York, doing her thesis in early childhood

special education.  Egermen hopes to publish her work, but will share the

results with participants whether it is published or not.
