Guest guest Posted June 13, 2012 Report Share Posted June 13, 2012 PATHS Certificate Program Recruiting for New Students for 2013 Direct Support Professional Program The PATHS Program is a professional certificate program offered at the Center on Disability and Development at Texas A & M University that prepares graduates to become Direct Support Professionals; for a career serving people with disabilities. The two semester program offers classroom instruction that provides participants with the required skills to be successfully employed in a community setting serving people with disabilities. Enrichment courses are also offered to further enhance the quality and depth of the training. During the final half of the program, participants will be placed in an onsite paid practicum position, which will give them on-the-job training and experience.
