Opportunity for Early Public Comment on Draft Proposed DARS Autism Rules The Texas Department of Assistive and Rehabilitative Services (DARS) is providing an opportunity for early public comment and a notice of a public hearing on the draft rules to 40 TAC new Chapter 105, Autism Program. A public hearing will be held from 4:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. on August 15, 2012, Criss Cole Rehabilitation Center, 4800 North Lamar Boulevard, Austin, TX. Persons who have communication or other accommodation needs who are planning to attend the public hearing should contact the DARS Inquiries Line at 1-. Requests for accommodations should be made five business days before the date of the hearingCopies of the draft rules may be obtained from the DARS Web site by selecting this link, or by contacting the Autism Program at .
