Opportunity for written comment or testimony at a hearing

The Texas Department of Assistive and Rehabilitative Services (DARS) is

providing an opportunity for early public comment and a notice of a public

hearing on the draft rules to 40 TAC new Chapter 105, Autism Program. 

A public hearing will be held from 4:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. on August 15,

2012, Criss Cole Rehabilitation Center, 4800 North Lamar Boulevard, Austin,

TX.

Persons who have communication or other accommodation needs who are planning

to attend the public hearing should contact the DARS Inquiries Line at

1-. Requests for accommodations should be made five business

days before the date of the hearing

Written comments related to the draft rules may be submitted electronically

Later DARS will formally propose new rules to 40 TAC Chapter 105, Autism

Program.  The proposed new rules will be posted for public comment in

December 2012.
