=====================================================

I can assure you that you weren't alone in your reactivity but it

would have taken different forms in others plus the ones you never

heard about (people don't often discuss entering therapy or taking

meds after exposures although anxiety and other severe psychological

symptoms are provoked by these neurotoxic chemicals in some people).

Any pesticide sprayed outdoors winds up indoors via the same ports

of entry the ants find - openings in the foundation, windows and

doors etc. After lawn care applications, fumes congregate indoors

and exceed outdoor concentrations a couple of days later - without

going away since sunlight isn't present to help in the degredation

of the product meaning the 'half-life' data no longer applies. Nor

can residues of pesticides be removed from porous materials such as

wood and clothing, electronics etc.

The term 'organic' has no meaning in pesticide chemistry. If you go

back far enough, everything had an 'organic' origin including

petrochemicals. It is what has happened to that matter since! Many

so called natural pesticides (like pyrethrin - claimed to be derived

form chrysanthemum flowers) are quite neurotoxic and hazardous to

multiple physiological systems as well as being allergenic to many.

After EPA approval, they add piperonyl butoxide which turns off the

detox system defenses of bugs (and people) so the actual toxicity of

the product can be increased as much as ten-fold. They have

discovered the run-off from the so called 'safer' pyrethrins and

synthetic pyrethroids in bodies of water where it is killing

wildlife and altering the sex of fish and amphibians. The

synergists are blamed for a great deal of the problem and that part

of the formulation isn't even tested by EPA. However, as those

inerts can be more toxic than the active ingredients, the EPA

has 'asked' industry to stop calling the extra goodies they put into

their pesticides, 'inert' materials which imply they are nontoxic.

Now they are asked to refer to them as 'other' ingredients. Products

like Round Up (company fined for calling it 'safe') are similarly

increased in toxicity through the addition of surfactants to

increase absorption into plants. If it kills something (cide), then

you need to know how, why that has been choses, and better options.

Humans are non-target organisms in the way of their activity.

Other hazards of 'natural' pesticides are concentrated substances

like D-limonene, from orange oil A book by McCloud

called 'Canary in the Courtroom' details her poisoning by the use of

this chemical in pest treatments of her home. She ultimatly won her

modest court case but the story shows why so few of these cases ever

get to court.

Lastly, new construction is rife with hazards including release of

chemicals from newly dug foundations and other legacies from prior

land uses. Definitely requires testing - I moved into a five year

old duplex which released chlordane (banned decades before in many

countries including the US) into the building. Very ill within two

days of moving there, I had to leave. Testing revealed my poisoning

and air quality assessment of the apartment showed chlordane and

three other banned pesticides also circulating in the place (old

farmland most likely). Contamination was called 'moderate' by the

chemist at the lab meaning a lot of others will be harmed. I learned

the owner's wife had become chronically ill while living there for

three years, before I rented the place. Now she knows why although

I never got back a penny of the $3,000 I paid to move in.

No one is apparently responsible for such things. So we have to be.

Lastly, the uses to which a property was put before you use it in

business or as a residence is vitally important in disclosures. I

knew one rehab program begun in an NYC building formerly used to

make wooden furniture. The VOCs had simply soaked into the

infrastructure and topical treatments using carpets, paints etc.

didn't disguise it. Several people became disabled while working

there. It is quite likely that longer-lived employees on that site

will ultimately develop other health problems. The body isn't

designed for that kind of abuse.

ants are mold feeders too, along with roaches, mites, ticks, and others

that I cant remember at this moment.I knew someone who rented a

trailer ,it was very moldy and the ants were thick and she said they

were biteing ants, I couldn't go inside, thankfully she moved.

Even cases like mine where their was at the least gross incompetence

and most criminal negligence I would say this is true.

My illness never got acknowledged or reported to any agency who's

purpose is to keep track of and or prevent such things. (I don't

believe any even exist) Instead the whole incident was neatly swept

under the rug.

The fact that I had no tangible or readily apparent symptoms that

could be observed or quantitated scientifically coupled with the

famous " mental label " victims of toxic exposures get I had no way to

prove anything.

No Lawyer I talked to would work solely on contingency which gave me

little confidence in their ability to get me any kind of justice.

They even wanted me to sign a paper saying that I would be

responsible for the defendants legal fees should they counter sue for

this.

But folks keep in mind " theirs no such thing as conspiracy's "

If you believe this certainly your a " crackpot "
