Guest guest
Dear Sam (sweet gal). I moved all the way from Colorado to San Diego in hopes of relieving some of my pain and serve breathing difficulties, not only did it not help, I am worse now than before, it was a desperate move to make for me and my family, but we took the chance. We are now seriously considering moving back home to Littleton Colorado (no not Columbine). It was worth it to try for my health's sake, but has been a very dangerous disaster for me medically (Physicians) and Emotionally, leaving my dear friends and Prayer group. I honestly thought it would at least help my RSD pain, but the flip side of Colorado's DRY air, is San Diego's Coastal humidity (damp air), we live about 3 minutes from the beach, I mean right down the hill, and that air creeps into my bones. So here's my thought: Any extremes are going to affect you. If we move back home my wonderful husband said he would have a small pool built in the back yard so during those hot dry months in CO, I can sit in it, that affects me the worst as it drains all my energy. Sorry so long on this subject, but thought since we took such a drastic change Id share it with you. LOL Dawn( hey I love this spell check, I look smart again. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ eGroups.com home: /group/chiari - Simplifying group communications

Guest guest
Hi Sam, Mitch, I'm just the opposite, cold weather makes me hurt and cripples me up. Really hot, muggy stuff is uncomfortable, but preferable to cold or even cool! I will get cold very easily and quickly too. I think the barometric pressure affects the blood vessels and and other fluids in our body causing additional throbbing and pain. Guest guest
P.s....Not to mention the overly nauseous feeling too when it is humid. Guest guest
Sam, Wow...never noticed anyone else mention the wooshing in their head...i get that too...usually preceeding a drop-attack. For me, it's a wooshing feeling, NOT a wooshing sound as much. Is it that way for you? kim wrote: Original Article: /list/chiari/?start=17275 > the whooshing in my head starts...I think its because I'm too hot ------------------------------------------------------------------------ eGroups.com home: /group/chiari - Simplifying group communications

Guest guest
When it comes to weather period I'm hopeless outside of certain parameters: - between 60 and 70 degrees (less-can't get warm; more-can't cool off) - 50 % humidity no more (can't stand my own skin), no less (can't breathe) - barometric pressure is allowed to change but very, VERY slowly or I hurt in places where...well you understand. I could go on, thank goodness my hope is in heaven where we will receive a brand new perfect body....AMEN!! ------------------------------------------------------------------------ eGroups.com home: /group/chiari - Simplifying group communications
Guest guest
I am the human barometer! I know long before the leaves on the trees turn under that it's going to rain. My headaches get so severe that I can hardly stand up. The humidity is bad also, but my headaches are at least reasonable. wrote: Original Article: /group/chiari/?start=17275 > Hi guys, > just wondering.........Do any of you find hot ,humid weather to > increase symptoms of Chiari??
