Guest guest
Until we know that NO moldy grain, corn or wheat is MIXED IN with clean foodstuffs it might be prudent not to use them at all. Sounds harsh, but the FDA cannot be trusted to ensure a clean food supply - the EPA can't be trusted to ensure the environment where it is prepared is clean - people have to make their own decisions about what they buy and eat. Pretty sad state of affairs. dcbeth@... a écrit : An interesting report all around, one of the recommendations (in Chapter 12) is to " minimise exposure to aflatoxins from mouldy cereals (grains) or pulses (legumes). " Though there's not a lot of detail, the report says: Do not eat mouldy cereals (grains) or pulses (legumes) The prudent approach is to avoid consumption of any cereals (grains) or pulses (legumes) that may have been stored for a relatively long time in warm, ambient temperatures, even if they show no visible signs of mould. _http://www.dietandcancerreport.org/_ (http://www.dietandcancerreport.org/) ************************************** See what's new at http://www.aol.com
