Guest guest
Hi Carol- Wondering if you made it kayaking to the manatee hole. Also I am wondering how Millie did the rest of the day. Hoping you were able to have some alone time and enjoyed a bit of the outdoors. We did have sunshine today but it is a bit deceiving. The high for today was...brace yourself...17. Looking outside and seeing sunshine would make one " think " it is a beautiful warm day. Well, not to be fooled. As my hubby said... " it's bloody cold " ...At least it looks nice from the warm indoors. It's 11:11...heard and read that is a direct portal to the heavens above. Guest guest
Sandie, I hadn't heard that one before. It is good to know. Didn't you get any of this last snow fall or did you get it before us? We may have had a bit of sunshine today on the 7-12 inches of snow we got. The Heavens can stop any minute now. Hope your first day of the year was a good one. Hugs, Donna R Caregave for Mom (after I brought her from WI to MI) for 3 years and 4th year in a nh. She was almost 89 when she died in '02. No dx other than mine. 2008 and Millie is awake! > > Millie got up this morning and actually is better than before her > little blue pill vacation. > > No whiney voice, speaking in complete sentences, asking real > questions, and tracking well. > > She wasn't on any pain meds while she was so dopey and she seems to > have cleared a bit. > > If I didn't have to give her pain meds I think there would be less > brain interfernce. > > I think a lot of her pain is in her muscles from dehydration. > > Sitting across from her right now she is initiating conversation, > forgiving me for overdosing her, and asking if we can do something > fun in her new wheelchair. > > She just asked if my mother was coming by this week so she could tell > her that she loves her and loves her daughter. 36 hours ago I was > target for all of her aggression. > > She is actually smiling! > > I just noticed that Millie has a bruise on her forehead.
