Guest guest
Hello to all, Just found this group and would like some information: I was just diagnosed with " extensive lung cancer " after an MRI and CT scan, as well as 2 spots in both the left and right lobes of my liver. I have not as yet had a biopsy, but have decided to seek treatment at Cancer Treatment Centers of America, as the former doctor wanted a biopsy of the liver because he believes that this would be " safer " than a biopsy of the lung. However, I had multiple exposures to mold in a rent house, then at 2 work sites. I have been very ill from mold since April, 2007. Is it possible that what the radiologist is seeing on my lungs and liver is the result of mold? I continue to have shortness of breath on exertion and fatigue. I should add that I am a breast cancer survivor and my cancer marker went from 22 to 109, which prompted all the tests. I was exposed to mold in my house for 3 months and at work for about 3 months. Could cancer develop that quickly from mold exposure? I know I have a lot of questions, but the health care people that I have seen have helped me very little.
