Guest guest
By Associated Press The school district has settled its lawsuit over construction problems, including leaks and mold, at a Santa high school. The Santa Joint Union High School District reached a tentative deal Monday with Fresno-based general contractor C. and Sons Inc., builders of the $60 million Pioneer Valley High School. Financial details were withheld. District superintendent Jeff Hearn says the focus now turns to repairing defects at the school. A high mold count in several buildings led officials to discover that faulty ceilings and improperly installed windows had allowed rain to seep into the wall. The district has spent more than $1.8 million on mold cleanup. http://www.sanluisobispo.com/breakingnews/story/185527.html __________________________________________________
