Guest guest
great news, emma. hope this makes life better for your gran and for you! big hug, anna FINALLY! We finally found a doctor who is willing to try Grandma on Provigil! We went to see her GP yesterday about all this not eating business (found out she is down to 104 lbs!! She was 112 last time we were in) and in talking to him about all the other things going on with her we both suggested Provigil at the same time!! It was pretty funny. If we can finally keep her awake during the day it should at least help with a whole host of other problems; restlessness at night, depression, memory, desire to do things, etc. So I gave it to her with her pills this morning and we'll see how it goes... Guest guest
http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/miralax/ From: To: miralax Sent: Wed, April 11, 2012 10:11:23 PMSubject: Finally! Hello all, I'm new in this group and thought I would start by sharing what I suspect is a familiar story. My son, who is now 11 has had chronic constipation since he was, well really a baby. When he was a toddler we talked with our pediatrician and we referred to a GI specialist and he was put on Miralax. It seemed to work for a while, but I started noticing him getting headaches on a frequent basis and bloating. Not all the time, but enough to make me think something was not right. Miralax seems to treat the symptoms, but not the underlying problem. As soon as I take him off of Miralax, no more headaches or bloating, but back comes the constipation. So, I'm here to search for alternatives that have worked for others. I realize every kid is different, but there has got to be a better answer than this and it's side effects. Thanks in advance, Steve
Guest guest
Thanks for the response. I'm not familiar with Natural Calm, but will look into it. We have started a probiotic, and that does seem to help with some Plum Smart juice. Thanks again! > > > > Subject: Finally! > To: miralax > Date: Wednesday, April 11, 2012, 10:11 PM > > > > Â > > > > Hello all, > > I'm new in this group and thought I would start by sharing what I suspect is a familiar story. Guest guest
It's been a life saver for us. My son has taken both the Kids Calm and Natural Calm. We bought it at our local co-op. http://naturalvitality.com/natural-calm/On Apr 12, 2012, at 6:57 PM, wrote: Natural Calm has been a life saver for us.. along with the plum smart as well...
