Guest guest
Both my mother and my husband's mother were polio survivors as well. I had a relative tell me that the polio vaccine caused more polio than those who got it without the vaccine. I did research about it because it just didn't seem believable, way back when before the Internet was crowded up with all the advertisers and such, and at the beginning of my journey. Anyhow, I was extremely shocked to learn about the mass amount of polio caused by the vaccine, the government admitting it, no talk of compensating people for it, as it was kept from the public, and the reports that substandard polio vaccines are still being used in 3rd World countries today, still reportedly causing polio there. Just saying, this is what I read. I never did ask my mom whether or not she got the vaccine for it, and she is deceased now, due to immune dysfunction. She died before the Internet, so all she knew was to go to mainstream medical who did pretty much nothing for her, except give her meds which not only didn't help, but increased her symptoms. Anyhow, point being, with the Internet, she could have really helped herself, as I have recovered my family with this knowledge. So, just saying, I wish I could say, "I love the polio vaccine, but I can't." But, I do think that the rabies vaccine for animals is very warranted. I think vaccines could be fantastic, and are at times, but truth be told, greed is behind them, and because of such, we have travesty. If only we had moral people who truly studied them, were honest in their research, and put in the extra effort to create and administer them correctly. Or, we could just be able to sue, since that seems to be the ONLY thing that works. No fear, no accountability, expect crap.  If I had another child today, I would not vaccinate for polio. But, we do need to research all about such diseases to learn ways to treat them, whether we vaccinate or not. Love and prayers, Heidi N I will never down play the death of anyones child nor the fact that they have Autism due to shots as this happened to my cousin. The latter did. However my mother is a polio serviver and nearly lost her life at the ave of seven after comming down with it. she got it the year before the vacinne came out. Her descriptions of having to deal with such an illness was not pretty. She cried when she got to the part where my mother stopped breathing in the hospital. I tbink the key here is spreading these shots out and not allowing so many at one time. letting your dr k.ow your fears and telling them either they spread them out or you walk out will make them listen. My nephew had all his shots late. No one liked it in the professional world ut he is healthy. He had one shot at a time. --
