Nightline~Death, Greed at the Dentist: American Children at Risk

I refused to do this with my children. What upsets me the most, is

that I have had every dentist tell me to go elsewhere if they

can't "put my kid under". When I tell the dentist how I don't

think fluoride, mercury and nitrous are safe for special needs

kids, they tell me that they have years of experience and to go

elsewhere. I did. I only wish years of experience meant

something to me, but it means very little. One of mine had

nitrous and was completely blind for 5 minutes from it. The

doctor and her staff completely ignored his screaming that he

couldn't see. She had years of experience too, and learned to

ignore children with her years of experience. My son's eyesight

returned on it's own, but when I went home and Googled, I found

that some people become completely, permanently blind from routine

dental nitrous. Shockingly, they use it every day, and from what

I have seen, ignore the fact that side effects happen, even when

the patients tell them so. On the autism recovery forums, there

are many posts of parents claiming nitrous anesthesia either made

their children's autism symptoms way worse or that they developed

them from the nitrous anesthesia. Down Syndrome children seem to

also be vulnerable to the nitrous.

Love and prayers,

Heidi N
