Guest guest
I recently told one of my Dr.s that I didn't think a CAT Scan he ordered was necessary, due to the fact that I've already had 2 CAT Scans this year 1 on my Brain when I was having Excruciating Migraines (due to working in a small room with a huge mould accumulation) and 1 on my L-Spine. The news reported a few weeks ago, 1 CAT Scan is equal to 3 years of radiation that the average person receives within 1 year. I asked him if it was really all that important and he said he wanted to rule- out Sinusitis. I have had the diagnoses of Chronic Sinusitis for years. I told him that I realize certain tests are required for preparing for litigation but that I also felt a CAT Scan was unnecessary and excessive radiation at this point. He said if that was a concern I didn't have to have it, but, he didn't suggest any alternative either. Does anyone know of any other way to prove my Sinusitis? or should I go ahead with the CAT Scan?
