Guest guest
Hi Carol- Glad you got a bit of a nap in. Every little bit counts. I would guess Millie's other sons shouldn't ask about the bruise on their mother unless they want matching ones. Hers came naturally from a fall - theirs could be " blamed " on a fall. (grins) It's so sad how our loved ones become so attached to caregivers. I think they must have so much fear inside of the unknown, fear of being left alone, fear of forgetting that a familiar face is gold to them. It is sweet that she trusts you so much and needs you around. Can be tough on a caregiver yet looking through the eyes of LBD it has to be so comforting. My dad could be in the worst mood and he would light up when I came in the room. It does a heart good. We trusted one another. I don't think I will be up until 2:00AM tonight/morning. I have to work tomorrow and will be up by 7:00. I need to be bright eyed and bushy tailed. ..that could be scary! Do you want to come out and play? We reached a high of 41 today. Beautiful blue skies, melting around the place...um, still some snow. Many hugs- Sandie Des Moines, IA dad, Merle, passed away from LBD 9-20-02, age 65 mum, Jo, (MIL) passed away from LBD 4-29-07, age 78 -- Too cloudy and chilly to go to see manatees. > > the grands came over and although we were going to see manatees, the > boy threw up and we aborted the trip. > > I did let them play in the water and wear themselves out a little so > they would nap when they got home. > > Jim and my son visited on one bank of the river, and the kids and I > kayaked to the other bank and they played in the sand and eventually > were wet from head to toe. > > I am tired enough to nap myself. > > I am taking adderall, and I didn't get to sleep until after four this > a.m. > > I was on Provigil for a while but it made me too grumpy to teach.
