Guest guest
Dear Carol- Oh, I am sad you weren't able to see manatees. I was looking to stories you could share. Please try again another time and share the marvels of such wondrous creatures. No new potty stories but a good throw up story. That must count for something on the " ick " meter. Interesting kayaking. Never have done that myself. Can't swim, can't float can't turn the thing over should it flip. Scares me actually. I am overly impressed with you doing this though. Very exciting!! I didn't get to sleep until well after 2:30AM and up again at 7:30. I should be great company come this evening. Thanks for mentioning me. I always look forward to what you have to say/write and when I see my name in your words or paragraphs I am even more happy. It does seem you and I had a conversation in the middle of the night while others snoozed. That's ok too. Maybe we should have been dozing off. ..hmmmm. So very happy Millie has improved. We have noticed over the years in this group that " this too shall pass " is often the case. It's just getting through those times that can seem an eternity. Maybe we can order boxed cards for Groundhogs Day online through Ebay. May be worth a go. Or, Craigslist. There just has to be some out there. I would guess there is a plethora of them around town. I shall let you know what I find. Happy napping!! Sandie -- Too cloudy and chilly to go to see manatees. the grands came over and although we were going to see manatees, the boy threw up and we aborted the trip. I did let them play in the water and wear themselves out a little so they would nap when they got home. Jim and my son visited on one bank of the river, and the kids and I kayaked to the other bank and they played in the sand and eventually were wet from head to toe. I am tired enough to nap myself. I am taking adderall, and I didn't get to sleep until after four this a.m. I was on Provigil for a while but it made me too grumpy to teach. If youcan't find your happy face in the classroom, high school kids will eat you alive. I promised them I wouldn't take that med on a weekday again. Courage, how are you doing? Imogene, missing you..my Florida connection. Sandie, I think it is marvelous you troll her at night. With work schedules and time zones, we can keep this site alove most of the time. I am going to get a nap now, I want to be able to stay up to watch Desperate Housewives tomorrow night, and it will be a school night. No potty stories today. Millie seems somewhat improved. dehydration a factor, for sure! Anybody started their Groundhog day shopping? I am having trouble finding boxed cards to send. Later, Carol Welcome to LBDcaregivers. Guest guest
Carol- Let me reword the first sentence. I was looking forward to stories you could share. It sure makes a difference if all the words are intact and accounted for. Sheesh, I guess I should proof read some of what I write. Lack of sleep...possible but not probable. Lack of a working brain - OH YA!! :-)) Sandie -- Too cloudy and chilly to go to see manatees. the grands came over and although we were going to see manatees, the boy threw up and we aborted the trip. Guest guest
I caught a short nap. Millie was hungry so i fixed her a small supper. whatever i decide to eat I have to give her a few spoonfuls for her to critique. I never know even when I ask her what she would like, whether will be dining with, or without, dentures. Millie' four inch bruise on her forehead and nose has turned that nasty yellow/gray color. I would just as soon her other sons not see it, as it looks like I may have walloped her in the head. Millie was running around all the time I napped this afternoon. I gave her claritin because she says her nose was running, and I gave her a half a small xanax so she wouldn't worry about anything while we took the grandkids out. She is getting to where she will do anything not to have me leave her. When other people asked if she did it on purpose, I didn't believe it. Now, I think there is a lot of merit to the assumptions. Dimpsy, are you out there? Imogene, can you come out and play? Jacqui, did the New Year wear you out? Holly, welcome. Are we helping? I scanned craig's list last night. It is better if I look through the archives, I think. I will catch up with you guys later. Carol > > > Carol- > > Let me reword the first sentence.
