Guest guest
My son still sees a pediatric dentist so I personally don't know of any general dentists who work well with adults affected by autism. However, universities with dental programs usually have outreach programs, you might want to call UT Health Science Center, they have a dental college. Check out this link. http://www.db.uth.tmc.edu/patient-care/community-outreach. You could also call Dr. Amy Luedemann's office to ask if she can recommend a general dentist who is autism friendly (through networking with other dentists she may know of someone). Dr. Amy Luedemann, DDS (Kidstown Dental), 281-394-704 Amy treats children who have special healthcare needs such as: Autism, Down’s Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Hemophilia, Sickle Cell Disease, cancer and many other conditions.
