HELENA--Congrats on the weight loss, hon! But let's start our good

habits now: weigh one week, take your measurements the next. That

way, even if you're on a plateau, you'll show results every week--

either with weight loss OR a drop in measurements. Get a notebook--

you should have one all set up anyway for all your lab work etc.--and

keep track of your weight and size! You're already having some great

success! Good job!

Hi Everyone...

My name is DeeDee. I live in Warrenton, VA about 50 miles for Washington,

D.C. I am having LAP RNY surgery on March 21st at Fairfax Hospital.

I have 5 children ranging in age from 15 to 4. They keep me very busy. My

husband is a techie and plays in a Classic Rock band on the weekends. I

collect and sell Longaberger baskets in my spare time. (Spare time ---

LOL!)

I have been researching this surgery for about a year. I am really excited

and scared at the same time about the surgery. But I am DEFINITELY looking

forward to starting my new life. Just being able to play with my kids, walk

up and down the stairs without being out of breath, live a normal life.

I am so glad that I found this group. Everyone has been so supportive and

very informative. I want to thank Ava and for being so open and

gracious. I also have my " Angel " Amy who has been wonderful. I really

enjoy our conversations. I am looking forward to making a lot more

friendships as well.
