Thanks for your recommendations, Haven. We have a visit scheduled with the director of Focus on the Future this week. I called the Autism Treatment Center as my son is severely affected but didn't get my ?s answered regarding tuition costs & was told there weren't likely to be openings for the Fall by an Adult services coordinator who didn't seem too aware about programs for younger children. I still left a message for an Admissions person to find out for sure but haven't heard back yet. I'm going to make a call back again tomorrow. Looking into schools in Plano & Carrolton Farmer's Branch as well & have a few visits scheduled so far. Thanks again,Dolly Sent from my iPhone

As far as I know, the Autism Treatment Center is for more severely affected children. "Focus On the Future Training Center" is a good private school for children with ASD.

Dolly, I am glad you are meeting with .  She has helped us so much over the years.  We have different philosophies on some things, but Focus is a very good school.  My son went there for three of the summer programs they had and it was wonderful.  We drove sixty miles each way to get there, but it was wroth it.

I think their tuition now is around 20,000 a year.  It is extra for the summer session.I hope you find what you are looking for.
