This is mostly for , but if anyone else uses this stuff feel free to chime

in. Do you give it

to your LO straight or on toast or is there some other way? Tried it with

Grandma this

morning mixed with ice cream and then just straight and as soon as she tasted it

she balked.

Said it tastes terrible. Tasted ok to me but hey, what do I know right?! It

doesn't say so on

the package but can you mix it into cooked food to hide it?

Emma,

I just eat it straight, but I don't think it matters what you do to it

to get them to eat it. It's just prunes, dates, and raisins, so I

don't think mixing it with cooked food would hurt.

I was going to forward this to - but searched and one of his posts

mentioned that he wrote about Fruit-eze on his blog:

http://pragmaticcaregiver.blogspot.com/

You got to read the whole thing - he's funny... Scroll down to " Down in

the Dumps? " to read everything he says - but to answer your question,

he wrote:

" One of my favorite natural interventions happens to be the unique

product Fruit-Eze. It's a jamlike combination of prunes, raisins, dates

and prune juice. No fancy-schmancy dried plums here. Prunes. It's a

genuinely delicious combo that tastes something like the inside of Fig

Newtons, albeit without the little crunchy seed bits. You can eat a

spoonful of it, or spread it on toast. It's got a hefty slug of fiber

in it, and is a natural source of sorbitol, a sugar-like compound that

increases.....well, suffice to say, it gets things moving again. "

But... really you need to read all that he wrote about the above

topic... :)
