Hi, Carol,

My dad had this kind of decline. We really didn't know he was ill, and then

it seemed all of a sudden, he couldn't find the bathroom. I new he wasn't

quite right up to then, but I really thought it was his eye sight. He had a

long history of bad eye sight long before we knew anything about LBD. He would

have times when he was better than others on finding the bathroom. The

right medication can really help with these kinds of things - at least, for a

while. I am so sorry that you and Millie are having to deal with all of this.

My Mother went from fully function to non-functional almost overnight. We had

known

she was having some problems, but not sure what was wrong. We ended up putting

her in

a nh after two months. So, yes a decline can happen rapidly, but Exelon helped a

lot and

so did Namenda.

Im so so sorry.Could it possibly be a uti?When mom has gotten worse in the

past it usually happens virtually overnight.She never seems to fade slowly but

just a sudden nosedive.I hope that things improve for Millie.I am keeping you

both in my thoughts.My heartfelt best wishes to you both. Ron

Could be a UTI? Yes, but when you have a sudden decline, you just

don't think about UTI.

You're right! Might be worth having this checked out.
