I had him on it for a year and I really didn't see any results, if there were any they were very minor. I figured he didn't need any extra medication if it wasn't showing much results. The Exelon Patch seems to work for my husband. I can only speak for him, because I know that all medications don't work the same for each individual. I always leave my husband on a new medication for a year to give it plenty of time to take effect. If I don't see any difference I have it removed. I found this out with a medication my husband took at the beginning stages that didn't seem to kick in until about 6 months later after it was perscribed and show great results.
