Colorado Springs elementary school has been closed all week to test

for mold. And administrators at The Classical Academy aren't sure if

they'll be able to re-open the school on Monday.

The school has been dealing with air quality problems for several

months now.

Students were moved out of two modular classrooms earlier this month

for testing. Now, the entire campus has been shut down this week for

more extensive testing.

It's been more than a year since The Classical Academy's East Campus

has been dealing with ongoing health issues.

In September of 2006, a field mice nesting was found in the wall.

" We went in right away and cleaned up some of the area that

indicated there may be some nesting, " said , TCA Chief

Operating Officer.

This month, the school is dealing with mold.

" The levels we have are low, " said .

Parents are still concerned.

" I care alot about my child's health, " said Bridget Jensen.

They voiced their opinion at a town hall meeting earlier this month.

And school administrators listened.

Classes have been canceled this week for health experts to test the

entire campus to find the source of what is making students and

teachers sick.

" I'm confident we'll be able to figure out the problem and have a

great road map as to where things are and be able to systematically

go about restoring things to make it better, " said .

School administrators plan to review the test results this weekend.

And decide if it is safe for students and teachers to go back to

school on Monday.

They'll make the announcement at a town hall meeting Sunday at 4

p.m. in the gym on the East Campus. Parents are encouraged to attend
