Guest guest
Hi Everybody, Another Repost. Did they have to go back in and remove this Scarring? Was it causing problems? Sounds like it was, probably a stupid question. Is this Scarring with problems a big deal after Chiari Decompression? Does surgery to remove the Scarring help or hurt? Take Care, Brande I have bad scarring at the Decompression site, not enough room for the flow either, starting of scoliosis, severe atrophy of left shoulder(the one that dislocates), severe nastygmus, vsion loss, and OT, Hypoapnea(sp), enlargment of the syrinx is now pressing on spine but other than spasms and bladder control syrinx is ok, meningocele (very, very large) filled with alot of Tissue and not as much fluid thankfuly, severe hearing loss, and yes worst of all and most important Extremely severe swalloing disorder(choke on own saliva now). he will open up further and deeper get the scarring out, Dural patch, and becasue of the spinal fluid leaking onto the spine as it has in the past,( he has performed almost 500 of these types, I asked to make sure. --== Sent via Deja.com http://www.deja.com/ ==-- Share what you know.
