Guest guest
Christy, I had emailed you and your husband Mike a resource list that consisted of over 50 resources that you could call for help in your area. Have you called any of them for help. The amount of resources that I sent to you, there should be help there. You just have to do the hard work of calling all of them. There were a tremendous amount of resources on that list, I would suggest that you call them for help. Take care, and I hope you find the help you need. My prayers are with you. I will resend this list, but I know that you received it, as it did not come back to me as undeliverable. I also called you and Mike, I left a message with my contact info, and I also emailed you before I had sent you all the list of resources. I hope it helps, and like I said I will resend the list to you. God Bless, Darlene Christy <alexisss25@...> wrote: first My husband Mike And I... Would like to thank the person whom went out of there way to send a gift to us... We are in bad shape and are trying to get on our feet again. To whom that didnt know what happen to us... We lived in a home for about 5 years and about 2 years ago there were floods in our area... And at the time of renting the home... The landlord was asked to fix the problems.. We had told him that there was Mold in the basement and begged and pleded with him to take care of the issues.. including the fact that he knew there had been no heat in the house as well and we also asked him to please fix that as well and even tried in front of the judge and still no help.. They just said for fair market rent " YOU GET NO HEAT " " YOU FIX IT " i was in such shock when i heard that.. We had to use a wood stove and 12 eletric heaters and then our eletric bill i am still paying and i am so lost over all this... its somthing i just thought that the landlord would fix being that it was his home.. I just wanted it done cause of our year old son at the time... He didnt fix the problems and for 2 years we asked. well over that 2 years we began to get very sick and ill including our son... He was at the doctors all the time with cold like smythoms(Fevers, Running noise, bad coughs, puking ect.) and upper res. infections. We even had to take him for special testing that made us think he had astum... it seemed that it was not that it had been caused by the mold making him sicker by the day. At that point i had noticed my husbands health starting to go down hill as well.. Always depressed and legs jumping un his sleep... Arms and shoulder hurting him in his sleep. always getting sick... Same thing... Coldsss all the timeee! I was like what the heck... We only would be sick maybe 1-2 times a year and now it feels like every week... It was to the point he could not even go to work... I just wanted to cry.. Feeling like i failed as a wife. On the other hand i was always depressed.. Could not sleep at night for fear there was something wrong with my husband and son... I was always cleaning.. Bit things didnt seem to get better even though i always tried... I even went to the point where i would try and leave the windows open to bring fresh air in all the time... Still always sick and depressed. So at that point we had a guy named Joe come out.. That specialized in Toxic Mold(s) and he did the testing and when he returned our call and a copy of the report i was in automatic shock... It had revealed that the house had 4 Very major toxic mold(s) inside... at that very moment we decided to look for a place as fast as we could and get out of there. So we told the land lord that we were leaving the home by the end of the month and he was very nasty to us. But we had no other choice but to do what was healthy for our son and our selfs. Knowing that we had to leave this house to better ourselfs, There was one down fall to it all.. We lost everything that we owned.. Our beds.. dressers.. clothing... my sons toys.. diningroom set... kitchen and bath stuff.. livingroom set and even our tv's... radio's.. vcrs.. dvd players.. my husbands tools.. I mean everything that we owned had to go.. Other then a 10X10 stroage bin is all we own cause they are pictures and things that people have giving us that are very dear to us. We are trying to start fresh and i have no idea how i can replace these things... I am staying with my mom right now cause my husband and a landlord has agreed that if he fixes this house up he will help us being with what happen to us. Thanks god for people like him and Thank god for the one that sent us a gift off here in the mail... You guys are life savors... You have no idea how much something so lil or small would help us right now... Thanks so very much... I kinda wish i knew who you were so i could just thank you so much for what you did. If any of you may know anyone in our local area with things that could help us out that would mean the world to us! Thanks so very much for everything and God bless! --------------------------------- Looking for last minute shopping deals? Find them fast with Search. Guest guest
This is really a terrible story. I hope that your life gets better after this. Please try to rise above this terrible experience and not let it define the next few years of your life as painfully as it has the last.
