Guest guest
I heard Dr Shoe recommends CSM over Welchol if you cannot take CSM. As for if I have heard anything. I was reading comments about it on a site I no longer have link to, but people were sufferering from either Irritable Bowel Syndrome or more serious Chrohns Disease, can't remember and I've lost the link, but some people had tried both and results was some felt CSM had better controlled their symptoms, while others said they did better on Welchol, so it's probalby something you just need to try and see. Whether that relates to toxin elimination, don't know. > > until a question was posed about it seemingly as in the same way CSM is used. > >
Guest guest
After my gall bladder was removed, I was prescribed CSM. I was told I had irritable bowel but now looking back, it was basically a side affect of having my gall bladder removed. After reading more about gall baladder removal, I have learned it is not uncommon for doctors to prescribe CSM for the diarreah which occurs which some get after a gall bladder has been removed. I could not take the CMS long due to it had nutra sweet in it. Nurta Sweet gives me headaches. Had I know CSM was for mold too, I would had requested the kind without nutra sweet and kept on taking it. > > > > until a question was posed about it seemingly as in the same way CSM > is used. > > > > >
Guest guest
I had no idea that CSM had NutraSweet in it (aspertame). That's a very dangerous substance! Guest guest
I think you can get the unsweetened kind as well. Also, some of the x-rays where you have to drink something before the x-ray they put Crystal Light in it to sweeten it. I always ask for it without Crystal Light if I have to have the kind of x-rays that I have to drink the stuff. I was getting very sick after my x-rays when I had to drink the liquid. At first thought it was because of the amount of liquid but when I saw them mixing Crystal Light in another patient, I about hit the roof! The last x-ray I had and I drank the liquid without the Crystal Light and I did not get sick. IMO, the Crystal Light made it taste nastier. You can have it placed on your medical records you are allergic to aspartame so they will not give it to you in meds and all. --- Patilla DaHun <glypella@...> wrote: > I had no idea that CSM had NutraSweet in it > (aspertame). Guest guest
There is also one with sucrose and no NutraSweet. > > I had no idea that CSM had NutraSweet in it (aspertame). That's a very > dangerous substance! > > Barth

Guest guest
In my perspective view, I am not obessed that it is Nutra Sweet, I simply can't deal with the horrible headaches I get from Nutra Sweet! --- In , LiveSimply <quackadillian@...> wrote: > > Why does that stuff obsess some of you? Guest guest
Well, then you have a legitimate reason to not want to take Nutraseet sweetened cholestyramine. I didn't mean to sound like I was criticizing anybody in that situation. Often I get quite ill and in those situations cholestyramine seems to offer quick relief for me. In my case, the cholestyramine (the csm I have been taking does have nutrasweet in it) gets rid of headaches, ringing in ears, body aches, inflammation. If I get a bad mold exposure, I can feel that stuff in my body doing various things for several days and I have to keep taking the CSM or I get ill. I will wake up in the middle of the night, unable to sleep, and the cholestyramine calms me down it seems. usually I can go quite a while without taking it but when i need it I need it badly.. Guest guest
I actually tested allergic to it. That's why I use the sucrose containing CSM. If I could afford it I would have it compounded. > > Aspertame makes me VERY ill > > > ************** > Start the year off right. Guest guest
Yes, I don't know why they put unnecessary junk in things. You can add it to juice so it doesn't really need to be flavored and has a yellow dye in it too that some people are allergic or sensitive to. They should just offer it plain and directions should say add it to juice or something. --- In , Patilla DaHun <glypella@...> wrote: > > I had no idea that CSM had NutraSweet in it (aspertame). Guest guest
From what I understand Welchol is like CSM but doesn't work as well. The powder form works much better. You still should be able to use it as long as you wait enough time between taking the CSM and others. I think that is mentioned in Dr. Shoemakers CSM protocol instructions which I can't seem to find right at this moment. Anyone else have them? Sue As I haven't yet been able to get myself to one of the good doctors who understand mold/mycotoxin issues, I was hoping to persuade my primary care doc to put me on CSM using the justification of my cholesterol being slightly elevated. Then I found that there's a contraindication with my bloodthinners (foiled again!). **************Start the year off right.
