Guest guest
I've read too that these are useing found together. my second home had chaetomium detected on air tests in high amounts along with aspergillus and pinicilliym, alternaria and cladosporium. the moisture problem was documented at twice as high as outdoors (documented because everything had turned damp to the touch including the carpet and I had bought a moisture meter and pointed this out to the testing company). a few years later I kept noticeing a fussy black green mold that would grow out from the brick on the outside of the brick part of the home when it was rainy and cloudy for several days. I had already found that behind the new half incj of brick tuckpointing (that was turning colors) was old crumbling moldy tuckpointing. anyway, this black green mold would disappear quickly when the sun came out, but everytine it was rainy ut re-appeared. it was very obvious, sp I did a tape test of it and it came back as stachy. just a example of how stachy can be there and missed. this house had been partly redone to hide the mold problem. new sheetrock, ect. so cant say if it was getting grouded out or didn't pick up on air tests because of high moisture or whatm but I know it was there.
