Guest guest
This is one time that I feel left out when all of you are talking about how artsy and talented you are. I am your antagonist in every sense of the word. I realized my limitations early and learned to be friends with someone like all of you and let them take that part of the school project and I did the typing or running around part. My father is a very talented artist in several different mediums so the genes were there and just not passed on to me. I have 4 out of my five boys that draw beautifully but have chosen the sports route instead of the art route. This was also the route I went and was a very multitalented athlete. It is interesting because I remember when I was first diagnosed with Chiari II in 1993, the research of literature at that time that I found, suggested that many of the diagnosed chiarians at that time were gifted in the athletic field and not the artist field and yet I would venture to say that over half that have responded recently here and gifted in the artist field. Hope today is a good day. I am dragging this am as my 9 year old celebrated his birthday with a sleep over of 10 little boys last night. Needless to say it was not the quietest night I have ever spent. We have 4 basketball games today and I would say Mom and boys will be dragging to all. Last week it was so exciting as all of my boys and the teams they were on won. It is usually not that way and someone or all three have lost so it was exciting that all of them won at the same time. Surely. makes the ride home easier Sue Marsigli ------------------------------------------------------------------------
