Hi Carol-

Great idea. I think having a person (or several people)

sitting up in the bed of the truck will allow undercarriage

washing at it's finest. From the headlights to the rear blinkers

and the hood to the undercarriage...everything gets washed.

I think most people have heard the phrase... " One Stop

Shop " ...well newly coinded " One Stop Mop " ...it's a go!

Course the same as a car wash, there can be different

levels of wash. Silver gets you a quickie wash and drip

dry...Gold gets you a double wash with hair and once over

dry...Platinum gets you a double wash and twice dry, may

even put their shoes on.

I like the idea of the dunking bubble bath. It could be fun

for all. Could even work fully clothed...no need to do laundry.

Dunk clothes and all. Walk them around the rest of the day

which allows for drip drying.

All of this would work year around in the Southern states, I

wouldn't recommend it in Iowa or colder states during the

winter unless of course a loved one needs a bit of cooling

their britches down. Frozen pe(a)e's have a whole new

meaning when doing an outside wash here in Iowa.

I truly enjoy when you have time to come out and play. :-))

Hoping you were able to swim with the manatees.

Hugs and manatee kisses-

Sandie,

I got another idea. bolt one, or three, of the pvc lawnchairs to the

floor of the truckbed, buckle in a lo, or two, and then get the truck

and LO done at the same time.

the brushes would do the hair as well as the bodies, so it resally is

a one stop mop bath.

If you just put them on the top, you could onlly getone side done at

a time. It would take two washes and a flip-over, if they are just

on a cartop rack.

No, better than that. How about a dunking booth of warm bublble bath?

Put the loved one in the booth, and then fire away with the balls to

hit the targets. Lo gets wahed, even multiple times, and the CG gets

to let off stress. If it isn't the LO in the booth, what kind of

target would do?

If you had to give Lewy Body real human characteristics, what would

they be? Maybe we could melt them like the witch in the wizard or Oz.

I am all for taking shooting practice at the flying monkeys as well.

Gottta go!

Oh Carol-

So sorry I can't live out my manatee watching through

you today. Maybe we can look for them another time.

Jealous...you ask if I am jealous. Heck no. We are having

a sunny, 29 degree day here in Des Moines. Supposed

to be the coldest week of the season...jealous...

Yes, I commit defeat. Yes, I am jealous. Can't imagine

putting my feet in any water around here except in the warmth

of my bathtub.

Thanks for letting me know you went out looking for

manatees. And I am happy you were able to see some.

I will look for you later-

We just went out for an hour or two to watch for our beloved manatees.

we only saw a few and we didn't get to touch any of them.

Current air temp is 79 and i had my feet in the water some.

It was a nice ride out and back.

I am sorry I can't share some neat stories.

So, i will close and then go check on Millie.

I am working on my tan all through this winter.

I know you are jealous.

Sorry!

Carol-

So very special. Amazing that you have touched these

beautiful gifts of nature.

I have looked up all that you have sent before, and I have

looked up the Homosassa Park as well. All I have seen

have wonderful photo's of the manatee and explains the

many tours and such to view them. Just totally boggles

my mind to think one could get so close to such a giant

and that they can so gentle.

Thank you again, Carol, for sharing another story of your

manatees and the adventure you had today with them.

Just knowing you saw some thrills me.

Also, so very glad you are rested for your work week. When

I see the commercials... " Got Milk? " my thought is " Got Sleep? "

It does a body good...

Hugs to you Carol. Always keeping you, Millie, and your

family in my prayers and close in thought-

-- Re: Manatee Carol

If you have been very good the whole year, when Manatee season comes

around, they will know and come right up to your boat and let you

scratch them on the back, and if you have been super good, they

sometimes roll over and let you scratch them on the tummy.

Now it is illegal to harrass the dear creatures, and we do not pursue

them, but if they should come up to your boat and run their backs

under my dangling fingers, and rub back and forth, then I do not feel

that I am harassing them.

For the most part they are very shy, and it is a royal treat to have

one come over for a tummy rub. I have kissed them, rubbed them,

scratched them, and swam with them. It is never a guaranteed thing

when the friendlies are going to be where we are waiting, but when

you connect with one, it is pure heaven. Our river is rather

brackish, and so you never see whole bodies like in clear waters.

The Crystal River Homosassa Park has clear water and has an

underwater viewing booth. If you go to there website, you will see

great pictures, I think.

Manatees do cruise up our river, and we do watch them from our living

room. I do feel honored anytime they are around.

I hope I get to have some close encounters to share later in the

month. Manatee season is usually pretty short, so if I do not get to

play with them in the next four weeks, chances are I will have to

wait until next year!

Meanwhile, Millie slept most of the day. her new caregiver starts

tomorrow. At least I am rested and can start the week fresh!
