Guest guest
Yes, well, denial of care sounds about like what most of us have found trying to get help. That and being told we have psychiatric disorders (which may be, but doesn't have anything to do with the physical health issues we're experiencing). Here's the deal - most doctors are clueless, and if it's outside of their experience, it simply doesn't exist. Period. Expecting it to be otherwise will be a futile exercise. You've read Mold Warriors? A number of folks on the list get some help from a CSM protocol that Dr. Shoe describes and you may be able to find a doctor who will agree to try that out with you as an experiment. But if you want to be working with a physician who knows about mold and mycotoxins, there seem to be a very small handful of them in the country - several people on the list have traveled great distances to get to them. I've actually done a lot better at figuring out what killed my neighbor than documenting what is going on inside of ME, and several friends on the list have hounded me about that recently because I'm not recovering as I've hoped I will. Am hoping I'll actually be able to make my first trip to see a good un physician next month. Have been having many issues with disability payments which makes planning difficult... but am extremely lucky to have them at all. What I'm suggesting is that instead of trying to convince doctors who don't want to believe you, that the better strategy may be figuring out how to see doctors who already know about this stuff. Just my 2 cents. ~Haley happyruiam <happyru@...> wrote: LiveSimply, I am no longer working. I lost all of my muscle strength and was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia, Thyroid Damage and Asthma. I've had L Kidney pain for 7 months now and my left foot and ankle swell up like an elephant. My blood is so thin, I have blood spots under my skin. None of the Dr's want to address the MOLD Issue. It's hard to find a sympathetic Dr, as most are arrogant with huge ego's and don't tell them anything because they know it all alredy. If I present them with any printed out material, they refuse to even considder looking at it. SAD. I consider them to be neglegent and and go as far as to acuse them with denial of care!
