I don't know what is in it (I am not on it yet). Is anyone on Resulin?

Would you please share the components.

TIA,

Fran

Hi Francine

you asked:

Utna,

Where do you live? Just curious, because your English is soooo much

better

than my Spanish (the only other language I speak at all!)

END OF QUOTE

First - of course - thanks for your hint on RESULIN. Could you tell me

what components are in it, as I think it will not available here under

that name.

Are you going to try it? Remember, the one thing I do know is the primary

side effect is possible liver damage.

Fran

Hi Francine,

you asked for the components of RESULIN. Well, I got the info here. A

bit wierd: In Holland I can buy it at anay pharmacist. In Germany the

pharmacist found out, that he can buy it for me via Italy, from a

company he never heard of. Although the open dutch border is only 300

yards away.

The main component is NIMESULID.

Thanks for your help again

Hi Utna:

I am one week post gall bladder surgery which was performed on me on March 12,

1999. I too am insulin resistant. My bgs were always over 200 the month or

so prior to the diagnosis and subsequent surgery. I have not been to 200

since my surgery. I have been in the high 70s to 190 but that is great

improvement for me and the doc thinks I may be able to go off insulin if I

continue to progress well. I was able to return to work on Monday, March 15,

and have had an easy smooth recovery. The hardest part was not being able to

sleep on my tummy post surgery. I am on Resulin and as a precaution, my doc

takes my blood monthly to check on my liver.

Good Luck

a J.

Hi Francine,

I'll see my doctor on the 19th of April and hope to be able to talk it

over. It's very difficult with him, as he refuses to accept that I am

resistant.

I got a new insulin some weeks ago, and I was now on 3 times 14 IE,

but I can't stand it no longer. I have again severe heart rhytmic

problems, that push my blood pressure up to 180 (120 is normal for

me). The funny thing is, the more insulin I inject, the higher get my

blood sugar levels. I had 285 this morning, I did not eat breakfast,

had 265 at lunch time, had (for sure too much) a dish of nasi goreng

(my life long favourite food) and was at 385 an hour later. From my

notes I saw that the last time I had to stop insulin, I also had gall

bladder problems. My " stones " hurt me again.

Utna
