Haley,

Thank you for your compliment. But you have to realize it is not just ME

that helped to bring the Wall Street Journal article to fruition. There are

pieces of all our work in that effort. As an example, none of us would most

likely know one, one hundredth of what goes on behind the scenes in this issue

if

KC and Sharon did not provide information central for us.

And Quack, some days I ask the same question you do, " What the Hell is going

on in Washington? " But, other days, I know we are getting there. GAO audits

can take a long time. I am thankful that Senator Kennedy requested one. It's

in the works. Mulvey son, myself and many others have been

diligently working to get some real action on the issue. I think we are just

about

there.

And there has been change since the WSJ article that is key. Many of the

IAQ/medical associations have broken ranks with ACOEM, the group of medical

defensors that told the doctors we are not sick from mold, while many of it's

members generated income as experts on the backs of the sick.

ACAAI has a priority this year to educate the physicians to look at IAQ

issues as a possible cause of illness. This is huge. We are breaking thru to

the doctors that they have been sold a bill of goods. That we are not liars out

to scam insurers.

I wish I had multi-millions of dollars to give to those who have been

injured by the deceit and ignorance of this issue to help make their lives

somewhat

right again. But I don't. And I know that some of us are going to end up

as casualties on the war on deceit, which breaks my heart. All we can do is

fight as hard as we can to stop the deceit so the physicians are educated and

no others have to follow in our footsteps. The sad reality of the matter is

that today, there is very little real help in place for mold victims. It is

very hard on many.

In a way, we are like soldiers fighting for the future of our country. And

we may lose some battles, but we are winning the war. We each have to keep

fighting the best we can and know that together, we are making a difference.

Yeah, well, can't deny all that, but...

I was thinking of this day as the anniversary of a HUGE success of one of

our dear list members, the powerful and undaunted, Ms. Kramer. My hat is off to

her for her skills in educating by getting people to pay attention.

Huzzah, Sharon - you are truly a hero in my book!

Be patient, Live... we're gaining on it. We'll reach the tipping point

before too long, I feel it in my gut (and no, that's not IBS talking -

thankfully,

I've missed that scurge).

Not to make a political commentary out of this, but that is exactly

' motto: Take America back from the corporations.

What I don't get is why don't the medical insurers get on board with

us. It costs them SO much more if we never get treated because we end

up having to go to many doctors and getting the run around when

otherwise we could just go to our own doctors, get the tests, get

treatment and get it over with.

I must have some kind of record for " Comp Metabolic Panels " given to

me over my objections by doctors who refused to give me tests for MSH,

c4a, MMP9, etc. They all do the same stupid things, over and over and

over.

Meanwhile I have been out of work for several years and I am losing

money and career. (similar situation to hospital IT person who posted

previously)

Before I got sick I was not rich by any means for my area but by many

people's standards I made a lot of money. (because the work I did was

very complicated)

This disease is ruining lives, all across the country. We can't afford

it. Its happening at the same time as the younger generation is not

learning the skills we need to keep jobs in the US. Lawyers and

financial folk wont do it. They don't create new wealth.

The less real jobs there are, the more scam artists will arise. At

this point I am including lawyers and insurance companies and real

estate brokers (with one important exception, thank you!) in that

category.

We are abandoning manufacturing because they say " we don't want to

make widgets, we want to sell them " supposedly, (quote from many

management consultants who advocate sourcing out manufacturing as a

commodity) but what we are really saying is that they don't want to

pay middle class workers any more. They don't want a middle class.

They are directly attacking the stability of America because of their GREED.

This is the atmosphere that we are letting SKILLED PEOPLE GET SICK AND

DESTROYING THEIR LIVES IN.

Those jobs wont come back..
