Guest guest
Hi - This gathering is in the making. I organized a gathering in 2003 and it is time for another one. Last year someone mentioned something to the affect of meeting...one thing led to another and here we go again. So far we are still trying to get a weekend narrowed down. We have a member in Scotland that is coming to the States and a lot of this depends on her time table...no pressure ! :-)) So, it seems there are 3 weekends in August that have been put here as possibilities. All are Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. The weekends are August 1-3, 8-20, and 15-17. So far members are able to voice their opinion as to what works best for them. Then we will focus on the 'where' of it all. Last time I asked the group what would work best for everyone. It seems there are a lot of midwesterners in the group. By any means does this need to be held in the midwest, just worked out to be that for the 2003 gathering. It was held in LaCrosse, WI. Have a look at the photo's in the LBD site under 2003 Caregivers Gathering. I believe it is the first album in the photo's. Please ask any other questions and also any suggestions and/or helpful hints are always welcomed. I am trying to keep everything about the gathering to read 2008 Gathering in the subject line to alert anyone in case they are looking for information. Thank you for asking. Where it is going to be held?? I am interested in being able to put faces to names, but need more info. lisa Engles SEIU-UHW Shop Steward _____________________________________________________________________________ ______ Be a better friend, newshound, and know-it-all with Yahoo!
