Guest guest
Hi Imogene, I saw a different doctor on Friday who prescribed me the levequin and we discussed the puffers I take daily and my constant URIs. She suggested a different medication called Spirva (not sure of the spelling) which is supposed to help those of us who have chronic breathing problems - COPD. Its a med that is taken everyday and I've heard very good things about it. Maybe something to ask your doctor about? Do you have any inhalers? I hear you about taking the steroid Prednisone. I take it via an inhaler and I never feel like it helps much but I do find that if I take it for a few days running I am starving all the time. I'm convinced that I gain five pounds every time just walking that puffer home when I pick it up at the pharmacy. I think taking up the carpet is a really good idea and I hope that your children/friends will help you. Perhaps you can organize a weekend " Carpet Party " for your family - they do the majority of the work and you feed them yummy food. Heck, throw in a yummy dessert or two and I'd be tempted to walk down to Texas and help you myself - that may take a few months of walking time. I'm feeling much better today. Before the levequin I was a definite dark forest green and today I'd say that I'm bordering on a Sage. Best to you and Don, Courage
