Guest guest
Host Resistance in the Brain against Toxoplasma gondii http://www.journals.uchicago.edu/doi/abs/10.1086/337999 (some interesting stuff on how immunocompetence effects infection by toxoplasmosis, who gets permanenent neuro damage, who doesn't + why. IMO, immunosuppression because of mold exposure could make a huge difference.)
Guest guest
I was HAPPY and Healthy enjoying many interests in life, especially Golf. In 2005 I started to become a little slowed at keeping up and on one occasion while Golfing in Nevada, after eating a quick bite of breakfast, a half hour later I became horrified at a sudden onset of IBS. This had only occured 1 other time that I can recall, which took place a month prior after eating a breakfast of fresh fruit. I then started having mild Gait Problems and also becoming short of breath. I fell a few times in 2006 and chalked it up to a mis step each time. as many other symptoms piled on I had no clue I was being exposed to MOLD at my workplace on an almost everyday basis. I so VERY MUCH KNOW!!! my immune system was just fine BEFORE the MOLD Exposure.!!! I am so tired of reading about the MOLD illnesses being worse in " immunocomprimized " people. I was NOT immunocomprimized BEFORE the MOLD EXPOSURE! The MOLD CHIPPED AWAY AT MY IMMUNE SYSTEM!!! and NOW I AM IMMUNE COMPRIMIZED! --- In , LiveSimply <quackadillian@...> wrote: > > Host Resistance in the Brain against Toxoplasma gondii > > http://www.journals.uchicago.edu/doi/abs/10.1086/337999 > > > (some interesting stuff on how immunocompetence effects infection by > toxoplasmosis, who gets permanenent > neuro damage, who doesn't + why.
