Group:

I need some assistance with an interpretation of mycotoxin test results

from the Environmental Health Center in Dallas.

The sample was nasal mucusa:

Procedure: Aphlatoxin (B1,B2,G1,G2; procedure by immunoaffinity and

fluorometry)

Ochratoxin (A, procedure by immunoaffinity and fluorometry)

Trichothecenes (Roridin A,E,H,L2,Saratoxin G and H,

Isosaratoxin F, Verrucarin A and J, Verrucarol by ELISA)

Results:

Aphlatoxin: 3.6 ppb Limit of detection: 2.0 ppb

Ochratoxin: 0 ppb Limit of detection: 2.0 ppb

Trichothecene: 0.18 ppb Limit of detection: 0.2 ppb

Thanks.

Mike
