Guest guest
I remember the HORRIBLE fatigue! I would drive home from school then sit in my driveway looking at my backdoor wondering how I was going to get to it. A couple times I even fell asleep while thinking about it! My muscle and joint pain was unbearable. My hands ached so badly I couldn't even squeeze the toothpaste or hold a pencil. I remember standing in my kitchen trying to cook dinner & I felt like I was just going to dissolve into the floor. After 4 yrs. I am pain free!! The fatigue isn't near as bad but I can't do what I did in the past and tire very easily if I do too much or am exposed to something. Sometimes I feel like I need a blood transfusion. Horrible feeling!! Sue I have also been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue some years back and had suffered from the maladies for many years before diagnosis. I used to love massages and that part of a pedicure when your feet and legs get massaged. At some point, I just started going through the roof when anyone came near me for massage and had no idea what was going on. This continues to this day. On the issue of chronic fatigue, when I worked in Boston City Hall, I used to go down to the nurse's office in the basement to lie down on the cot to sleep or I would just close the door to the inner office and go down on the rug to sleep. Little did I know that under that carpet was an entire biology lab of micro-organisms there growing with impunity because of the chronic leaking in the office. So many times I would drive to the supermarket after work and just turn around and go home because I couldn't find the energy to get out of the car. On many occasions, I would sit in my car outside the house because I just couldn't get out of the car because of the crushing fatigue. **************Start the year off right.
